Pearl Jam Rocks Out at Rupp Arena

Pearl Jam played another great night of music at Rupp Arena last evening. The band played another 3 hour show to loyal fans from all over the country. Fresh off headlining New Orleans Jazz Fest, they kept the energy up and delivered a whopping set of music. Pearl Jam is on their way to play Philadelphia, Madison Square Gardens in New York, and Fenway Park in Boston. They will then headline Bonnaroo and end their tour at Wrigley Field in Chicago. (We’ve played to a lot of active duty members and veterans on this tour.  I hope that they get to stick around and that the government pays attention to all the hard work they have to do.  This one is for you.)

(EV compliments the audience on their energy and thanks them for giving it up. He says, “It sure is beautiful here in Kentucky.  I don’t remember that.  And there has to be more than one guy that paints all the fences white.  That has to be a two man job.”  He also compliments Kentucky on making the right choice in rejecting laws that would have discriminated against others.)
