The Classic powerhouse band Chicago returns to Central, Illinois kicking off the Peoria Civic Centers return to hosting music since early 2020 and the beginning of the Pandemic.

In 1967 a Rock and Roll sound erupted from the obvious Chicago, Illinois. Starting as The Big Thing, then on to the lengthy name of The Chicago Transit Authority before settling simply on Chicago. Describing themselves as "Rock and Roll with horns." made quite the impact on the scene in the 1970s and beyond. Current members Neil Donnell, Lee Loughnane, Robert Lamm, Lou Pardini, James Pankow, Keith Howland, Walfredo Reyes Jr., Brett Simons, Ray Herrmann, and Ramon Yslas took the stage for a powerful two part show that packed the Theater. Young and old alike sung along with the lyrics with a band that regardless of time still has a stage presence and stamina to perform a 30 song set.
