Inked Entertainment and 105.7 The X brings back the Spring Fling Festival to the Peoria Riverfront. Growing up from just a one night concert series to a 2 day Rock and Metal Festival is just what the Central Illinois Area needs. Opening Day started things off right with 3AM Project, Burden Of The Sky, Memphis May Fire, Asking Alexandria, and headliners A Day To Remember.

3AM Project

Hailing from Peoria, IL local favorites 3AM Project has been on the local scene for almost 20 years. I personally have watched these guys evolve from playing small clubs, back alley warehouses as well as random shows all over the area. Stepping on to the big stage was an awesome sight. Vocalist Denver, Lead Guitar Bobby, Bassist Bob, and drummer Joey took the stage with force. Celebrating 6 studio albums its no wonder that they still can bring out the people.

Burden Of The Sky

From the twin city Bloomington, IL Burden Of The Sky is celebrating the May 2019 release of their newest album Sine Timore, Vocalist Scottie James, Guitarist and founders Brad Shaw and Josh Appel, Bassist Dustin Tritsch, Keyboardist Mike Mahoney, and drummer Rick Streeter stopped in while on tour to show the river city some love. Their popular single "Sirens" along with "The Puppeteer", and "Catalyst" definitely shows why these guys are without fear as their sound is one I look forward to following.

Memphis May Fire

Nashville, TN is home to this powerhouse band. Matty Mullens on Vocals, Kellen McGregor Lead Guitar, Bassist Cory Elder and Drummer Jake Garland took the stage to a full crowd. Riding the high of the new album Broken their songs such as "The Old Me", "Vices", and "Stay The Course" blasted the fans to the core showing just how metal musicians can come together to form a sound like no other.

Asking Alexandria

From the other side of the pond in the UK comes Asking Alexandria their self titled fifth album currently climbing the charts. The voice of Danny Worship, with Guitarists Ben Bruce and Cameron Liddell, Bassist Sam Bettley, and James Cassells rile up the already wild crowd. Songs "Vultures" "Alone In A Room", and "Run Free" show just why they are a touring powerhouse having played every major rock festival around the world.

A Day To Remember

Florida natives A Day To Remember headlined the first day of the festival and the fans could not have been more energetic and happier to see them. Lead Singer Jeremy McKinnon, Guitarists Neil Westfall and Kevin Skaff, Bassist Joshua Woodardm and drummer Alex Shelnutt returned to the Midwest to a large crowd shouting "ADTR" Opening up with "2nd Sucks" and "Right Back At It Again" their energy charged up the fans. About to begin their Raisin' Hell In The Heartland Tour fans were able to get a sneak peak at the upcoming tour. Closing with "The Downfall Of Us All" the band left the stage just as explosive as they took it!
