The Lovin? Spoonful still going strong after 49 years delivered an awesome performance this Saturday night at Secada's. This is a very intimate indoor/outdoor venue located inside the Magic City Casino in Miami, Fl. An excellent place for entertainment, food, and of course a little gaming action.

Moogfest 2014: The Advancement of Culture and Technology
![]() |
| Laser Lights During The Pet Shop Boys |
After taking
a break for 2013, Moogfest came back stronger than ever in Asheville, North
Carolina for an epic five-day adventure of sound and art. Opting to move from its usual position in
late October to beautiful April, festival organizers have saved traveling
patrons from the overpriced hotel rooms associated with Autumn in the
mountains. With the addition of the
daytime events including lectures, talks, performances, and workshops, Moogfest
has secured itself as an east coast commodity.
With the pioneer of electronic music and inventor the Moog Synthesizer,
Bob Moog having called Asheville his home for many years, and with the Bob Moog
Foundation and the Moog Factory both located in Asheville, it feels natural to
bring such an amazing event back to the mountains of North Carolina. Moogfest carries the strong theme of new
technologies, futurism, and synth-heavy music.
Music lovers and geeks unite to watch over 100 musical performances and
dozens of educational and interactive talks and workshops.

Hall & Oats at PNC Pavilion on May 11, 2014
Hall & Oats opened up the season at PNC Pavilion to a sold out crowd on May 11, 2014. Daryl Hall and John Oats were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame this year and are doing an extensive tour around the country. Hall & Oats have sold more albums than any duo in music history! They are also making an appearance at several large festivals. The duo played all the songs that the crowd wanted to hear including "Man Eater, Out of Touch, Private Eyes, I Can't Go For That, She's Gone." We were all having fun, live at Daryl's House. (Soundboard shoot, so not many close-ups)

The Dandy Warhols with The Warlocks in Louisville at the Mercury Ballroom
The Dandy Warhols (Portland) and Warlocks (Los Angeles) played in Louisville at the Mercury Theater after Derby Day Weekend. This show was fantastic!! We talked to people from all over the region who came in for this show. The Dandy Warhols are off to Europe for the rest of the summer and The Warlocks are off to tour with the Ravonettes. We had a good time hanging out with both bands in Louisville. (The lighting at this show was all over the place and we only got to photograph 2 songs, so images aren't great)
