“Tommy Noble” and the Eastside Bulldogs

Nashville, TN.

Darkness had come and the rain was
pouring down on East Nashville's 5 Spot. So dreary that dedicated
music lovers that normally would be out were choosing to stay home.
Inside “Tommy Noble” sat onstage sound checking for his “happy
hour” show while the scattered few patrons sat sipping their 2 for
1 cocktails.

Johnny Cash Birthday Bash at the Johnny Cash Museum

The Johnny Cash Museum hosted Johnny
Cash's family and friends to a celebration of his life in honor of
his Birthday. Bill and Shannon Miller (founders/owners) have created
a museum that is so very special and did a terrific job of putting
together the show. A special touch was the delicious strawberry cake,
just like Johnny liked.

Last night the Ryman Auditorium
exploded!!! Not in the physical sense, but in the
spiritual/emotional sense. It was the second night of a 2 show run
for the Tedeschi Trucks band at the Ryman.

Rounder Records Americana artist Doug Seegers with Elizabeth Cook at Nashville's City Winery

Doug Seegers is the real deal in an
industry seemingly taken over by cookie cutter music. Where are the
Johnny Cash's and the Waylon Jenning's in today's music?

Umphrey's McGee Performs at The Taft Theater in Cincinnati with Tauk
Umphrey's McGee played for another sold out crowd at the Taft Theater with Tauk (Brooklyn). Tauk played an incredible opening set on Friday night at the sold out venue. Umphrey's went on and dazzled the crowd with a great set that concluded with Oceans Billy featuring Nick Blasky on Bass. The second set had several guest stars including Mad Dog's Filthy Litte Secret Horns for Umphrey's encore of Peg (Steely Dan Cover), Dump City, Sledgehammer (Peter Gabriel Cover). Check Umphrey's on tour and be sure to see them at one of many festivals they are already confirmed for this summer, including their own Summer Camp.
