It had rained on Saturday, the opening day of the Pilgrimage festival. Sunday threatened rain as well and it actually started early afternoon. But as the time drew near for Emi to start the rain stopped, the clouds parted, and the Sunshine appeared.

Van Halen 2015 Tour with David Lee Roth

Van Halen and Kenny Wayne Sheppard Band played an energetic show with all of their classics last week at Riverbend Music Center. Van Halen consists of David Lee Roth, Eddie Van Halen, Alex Van Halen and Wolfgang Van Halen. I hadn't seen Van Halen since the early 90's but they sounded very youthful and pulled off all of their hits with grace. It was also a treat to have Stevie Ray Vaughn's ex-drummer playing for KWS Band!
