Warren Haynes Christmas Jam Pre-Jam Photos 2010


Warren Haynes Christmas Jam is a benefit concert for Habitat for Humanity held each December in Asheville, North Carolina—Warren's hometown.  The tradition in its 22nd year has also for the past 12 years, has had a Pre-Jam of the main night.

While the Pre-Jam is held a live rehearsal and private show for the bands, friends and family, the Pre-Jam has been in recent years broadcast live on WNCW, a public radio station serving Western North Carolina and has also been open to a select few who purchase VIP tickets.  All profits have benefited Habitat for Humanity.  The 2010 Warren Haynes Christmas Jam Pre-Jam held back from performing songs with the newly formed The Warren Haynes Band because

Warren wanted to debut his new songs and band at the Christmas Jam.  The 2010 Pre-Jam featured performances by Umphrey's McGee, and acoustic set by John Bell of Widespread Panic, an soulful acoustic duet with Gregg Allman of the Allman Brothers Band along with Warren Haynes, the Steve Miller Band including a duet with Steve Miller and Carlos Reyes on harp, the Dirty Dozen Brass Band and many other performances.



Kevn Kinney, Ivan Neville, Ron Holloway, Audley Freed and Mike Barnes all took to the stage during the evening.  Held at The Orange Peel in downtown Asheville, the all-star event had a packed house yet the near 1000 in attendance.
