Wednesday Americana started with a seminar on 'Streaming Digital Technology'. Next was the evening at the Station Inn with The Barefoot Movement,The Cactus Blossoms, and a bluegrass superjam!

The seminar presented a very interesting topic that dug into what sites like Pandora, Spotify and others have done to promote and showcase new and existing music artists.

At the Station Inn first up was The Barefoot Movement, an award winning Bluegrass band from East Tennessee. Well, what can you say about a bluegrass band that covers Jimi Hendrix's 'FIRE'!?! Then The Cactus Blossoms, an acoustic duo from Minneapolis, Minnesota! They have an Everly Brothers type sound, but with a musical identity all of their own. Their cover of the Beatles' "This Boy" was such a special treat! Excellent to finally see a Bluegrass SuperJam, Nashville Station Inn style! What a night!!!
