Outside temperatures in the negatives didn't stop fans from filling the Peoria Civic Center for the much awaited Evolution Tour. Even after having to be postponed a day by Mother Natures wrath that didn't stop anyone from making it from close and far to rock out to this powerhouse pair of bands.

Three Days Grace

Canadian Group Three Days Grace formed in 1997 didn't really have a presence in the US until 2003 with the release of their Self-Titled first album and picked up momentum, During the 2013 tour and the unexpected departure of their lead singer Matt Walst (from My Darkest Days) joined his brother bassist Brad Walst, Guitarist Barry Stock and drummer Neil Sanderson. Their latest album Outsider hit number 3 on the Billboard charts. Opening with "The Mountain" and playing a strong 12 song set including, ""The Good Life", "Painkiller", "Right Left Wrong" and ending with "Riot" the evening was definitely heating up.

Disturbed

What can be said about Chicago, Illinois own Disturbed? From their beginnings playing small local bars and venues and taking the world by storm. Lead Singer David Draiman, Lead Guitarist Dan Donegan, Bassist John Moyer and Drummer Mike Wengren have been dominating airwaves since 2000. The Evolution album debuted at number 5 on the Billboard 200. Opening up with the hit "Are You Ready" and following up with multiple songs spanning all of their 7 chart topping albums. "Stupify", "Voices" and a cover of Genesis "Land of Confusion" David took a moment after moving to a stage set in the middle of the floor to ask the lights to come up and ask fans to raise their hands if fans have known or they themselves have dealt with depression. Looking around at the hands raised he made a point by saying, "Look Around! You Are Not Alone!" Before the guys set in to begin their powerful song "A Reason To Fight" and the remake of "Sounds of Silence" Wrapping up with Encore "The Light" and of course "Down With The Sickness" This show is a great way to end the first month of the 2019 concert year ahead!
