The Americana Fest in Nashville showcases such incredible talent every year that it is hard for any individual artist to really stand out. But 2014 was the year that Trigger Hippy stole the show.

Trigger Hippy gets HOT!

The Basement was hot that Saturday night. Hottest ticket to have in Nashville. And it proved to have the hottest music in town as Trigger Hippy (Audley Freed, Steve Gorman, Nick Govrik, Jackie Greene, and Joan Osborne) put on an incredible show. Playing/singing their hearts out to the packed house, the sweat was literally flying off Joan as she danced and sang. The AC was so totally overwhelmed, the steamy Southern night for once seemed cool as we exited after the show, knowing we had experienced one of those shows to treasure always. It was a short tour but they promise to be back with more, I hope it’s soon.
