Orlando, Florida

Singer/songwriter/multi-instrumentalist Arielle is wowing crowds across the country while on tour as support for Eric Johnson. But she is SO MUCH more than just an opening act. Boasting a four-octave range, the uber-talented 27-year-old is a brilliant singer/songwriter as well as a highly skilled guitarist and keys player. When you have musicians such as Eric Johnson, Vince Gill and Brian May of Queen in your corner, you must be doing something right – and Arielle certainly is.
Arielle's latest release, a five-song EP entitled Mind Lion offers a diverse batch of four cuts either written or co-written by Arielle and one Matt Bellamy (Muse) cover. Performing three of the five tracks off the new release at this show, including "Devil's Disguise" (preceded by George Gershwin's "Summertime" as the opener, a song heavily influencing the sound of "Devil's Disguise"), "Voices In My Head" and the Eric Johnson-esque instrumental, "Take II," Arielle proves that she is a master on acoustic and electric guitar. Slowing it down with her prior releases, "Magick Again" (which showcases her spine-tingling octave range) and the haunting, piano-driven "A Love That Never Dies," Arielle's set was over in the blink of an eye. "Make my ears bleed!" shouted someone from the crowd. "Wait for Eric for that!" Arielle laughingly and modestly replied, but there is no doubt that she certainly COULD have done so. Jamming with Johnson during his set and taking over lead vocals at one point (Johnson was under the weather - even musicians get sick!), the young songstress seemed right at home on stage and possessed a calm, cool confidence beyond her years.
